Frontline Worker Leadership Capability Feedback Tool

Self-leadership

Recognising, exercising and improving own leadership

Demonstrating and adapting leadership

I am aware of my own leadership strengths and weaknesses and find opportunities to improve. I adapt my personal style to positively address the range of situations and people that I work with. I seek opportunities to work with others to share, enhance and expand my leadership capability.

Improving own leadership

I self-reflect on my style and approach in work so that I keep improving. I actively seek feedback from others to increase my self-confidence and leadership capability. I update my knowledge, in a range of ways, to continually improve what I do.

Taking intelligent risks

I take intelligent risks, based on good risk assessment and risk management to support the work I do. I take calculated risks, based on risk assessment and risk management within my area of responsibility having considered the consequences of action taken. I evaluate risks and seek support when necessary in my work.

Show and build resilience

I rise to each challenge in my work and aim to maintain a positive outlook. I recognise my own level of resilience and, where this is low, I seek support. I adapt to different situations and actively contribute to finding new ways of working to achieve successful outcomes.

Challenging discrimination and inequality

I treat everyone with dignity and respect to reflect our values and create an inclusive culture. I work effectively with others to positively address issues of discrimination and inequality. I ensure that my practice is continually free from discrimination and inequality.
